Miles has over 30 years of industry experience and for the last 20 years has held senior executive positions with leading global institutions:-
- BNP Paribas – Chairman of the Jersey trust company and head of wealth management in Jersey.
- Coutts – Head of Private Client services of the Jersey trust company.
More latterly, he was one of three original founders of Highvern Trustees Limited, an award-winning fiduciary firm with US$10 billion of assets under administration.
Miles is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He also holds the STEP Advanced Certificates in both Family Business Governance and Advising the Family Business.
Through his career, Miles has worked with UHNW families of all types from across the globe but particularly in the Middle East and Far East, helping to create and administer state of the art estate planning solutions.
After three decades in industry it became clear that he could best serve his clients’ needs by operating as a completely independent trusted advisor and is now applying his collective knowledge and experience to help families preserve and enhance their wealth over the long term.
By helping families focus on the non-financial capital elements of their family wealth, understand fully the structures that they have, and optimise the relationship with their fiduciaries they are better placed to ensure that the lives of those that matter are truly enriched.
